How you doing fellas!! Anybody know how to remove the rear view mirror of an 2008 passat...

first, I dont remove them. They have a rain sensor built into that mirror bracket housing, so I haven't felt lucky enough to chance it. I will check with a friend of mine who works at a glass shop and see if he has the procedure. Most vw's just twist off, but this one doesn't look like it does

almost positive ots a twist and turn 99% sure thats my final answer

if its anything like the 300's with the rain sensor DO NOT take the sensor off u will be buying the customer a new windshield

Amazing how even thinking of removing a mirror clip now is a scary thought
