I can tint 59 cars in 59 minutes..........oh no wait I can tint $59.00 cars in 29 minutes...... no that's not it either :tantrum:thumb

Do a search, it's been discussed and run into the ground many many times around here, everyone's different, so between an hour to 4 hours a car so 2 - 8 cars a day is average :thumb

Average time to tint, a car. I assume your hand cutting it without door panel removal about an hour and a half. If you're using a plotter, take off about 15 to 20 minutes. If you are removing the door panels you can expect to add about a half hour to 45 minutes. How many cars can you do in the day depends if you're answering phones and dealing with customers. About four to five cars comfortably, if you have no distractions. Six to eight cars

The key is to do as little dis-assembly of the vehicle as nessasary. Tuck gaskets if you can and use a heat gun to warm them so you can pull them out with a pick tool when you finish. Use 3m painters tape on fuzzy rubber door strips to keep the dirt out and improve speed. On large dot matrix use a gray scuff pad and then use black vinyl and heat it and install on the matrix and it looks like black factory glass. We have patterns pre-cut for all cars. A skilled installer can do usually do 5 to 6 cars well in a day. When you grow your business to a point you'll only get to the next level by doing commercial and residential and dumping the auto business all together unless you're married to cars and not the window film business as a whole. The reason I say this is the greedy distributors sell anybody auto film so you'll always fight price wars.

usually by the time I go back to autozone three or four times to get more Gila because I just found out that the TINT GOES ON THE INSIDE. I spend about 9 hours total. Thats if I three peice it though some times I have to do up to 6 pieces on the back glass add about an hour and 1/2 if that happens.

Oh and I use the Gila HP so dont worry its the best of HP films it never turns purple because it installs purple!!! :thumb:tantrum
