Do you use abond solution in your Flat Glass application

I am wondering what is the difference between our usual application solution with the bond solution sold by the dealer

Is there any significant solution between both?

I sometime have to press some edges many times to get them bond in flat or car application and I am wondering if the bond solution may resolve this type of problem.

Thanks for your answers

That is because I have 600 Sq feet job I am planning next week , just willing to know if I have to order this bond solution

If you mean something like X100 - it helps dry out a dry adhesive film faster. I don't use it... but when I worked for a lulu shop, I would use it if it was a cold and cloudy day.... the film started to bond to the glass faster.

But, if a corner isn't staying down, I don't think *that* would work any better then not having it.

Of course, if you're speaking about something different then X100, then it doesn't matter...

When I have a problem with a corner not staying down, a lot of times I'll just get a hardcard, wrap it in a paper towel and lodge it into the corner of the window. Let it sit for a while... come back and carefully remove and the corner stays down.

YMMV.

Things like X-100 are slightly acidic.

The dry adhesives go through their chemical reaction and bond more quickly when in an acidic enviroment. The next would be neutral (baby shampoo) and an alkaline solution (most other soaps) would cause the film to bond slowly.

Now having said that....which "bond" solution are you talking about?
