What a cool old car to tint , 2nd. owner in exceptional shape . Two screws per door on upper top of door panel and the whole shebang lifts up like a panel on a Ford Superduty or F-150 . Phillips screws at that , ezy rear and away it goes . Not bad for a car that is 8 yoa !

I've noticed some of these older Audis and VWs have flakey defrost lines. Anyone else ever see anything like that on these cars?

haven't seen it on the audi's but on some hondas yes

Ive def noticed as they get older they have a rougher feel to them.

  I'm sure a call to the parts dept of your local VW dealership will confirm availability. There are also plenty of aftermarket auto glass manufacturers in the world. If I can locate just about any piece of car glass here in Australia, I'm sure it won't be too hard wherever you are. There's always used available too.
