I had a customer that asked me for a film that will help stop any light that is below 230 nano meters. Thats the wavelength of the light if you dont know. Basically it has to filter as much blue light as possible. Every other tinter in the area didn't want anything to do with her. Too hard. But I hate not being able to answer there question. I have consulted an engineer to find the answer. But was wondering if anybody had a customer ask this?

Which type of filtration? Additive? Subtractive? I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say subtractive. Yellow will filter blue. As to exactly WHICH nm range, you can google kodak Color correction filters, gelatin filters to get the approriate filter pack that will filter the blue in question. You can get the result in nanometers, but the usual values are expressed in Degrees Kelvin (Color Teperature) THEN, contact Courtaulds (They make photographic color correction filters) and tell them what you need. They will make it for you for a price.

If the custy is in real need of that type of filtration, sounds like it's gonna be a rather expensive proposition to have a film with those particular properies made.
