anyone have any idea how to pull door panels on this one. I have one come in every now and again, and I am never satisfied with the results on the doors. I pull panels on almost everything and this one is not easy for me to get the door panel off of. thanks in advance

aren't these doors frameless? If so, why take off the panel?

I pull allot of panels also, but usually not frameless windows :lol

yes everyone of you are right, they are frameless rollups. but the seal at the bottom of the window (top of panel) are so tight I find it hard to get the tint down in there. figured it would be easier for me to just pop the panel. my comp. just cuts those seals out. but that is not an option for me. maybe im just overly picky, I dont know.

I have taken the panels off before, 4 screws if I remember rightly. Don't bother, very easy to do, quick tip, flick the door latch across a couple of clicks, this will raise the glass to the 'closed door position'. If you lightly push outwards on the top edge of the glass it releases the pressure on the window gasket. Makes it alot easier to get the film in.

Have fun :beer

thanks tint technology. I knew about the door latch making the window roll up. maybe that will help to push out on the window a bit. it being a bmw, I figure the glass would be pretty expensive so I have never pushed on it. but will give it a try. thanks again

You could try using a small pic tool. I have a dentists hook because of it fine tip. Just pull the gasket back enough to slip the film in.
