Lighter films Question

Need to know if there is a Maddy XSR Cool film lighter than the 55.. this film nets out much lower than other 50% Color Sable films I have worked with..... My Reg/Dist is clueless and I know that film Distributors have different needs...... Were can I find in this country and will be willing to sell me the sh*T....

Nope, here in the states Charcool 55 is being done away with in favor of 50.

Suntek now has carbon 70 which should meter about 55 to 58% once on the glass.

HanitaTEK has Solar Steel 70 which meters 55%.

Global has QD 70 which means 58%.

It sucks, you're either way below it at 42% net or way above it at 58% net! We need some 60% films!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:evilgrin We have a 40% net law on the front two and 50% works out great, but yea Dans right if you need lighter than that with cool :spit

Nope, sorry Lorenzo, the only thing 60% wise XSR would be MAC (ceramic) it's light enough, that the color is very close to Cool :beer:lol

hey lorenzo a madi dealer up here wont even send us a sample they want us to pay for a 20' cut to try the film :beer:lol

too bad... I figured the Cali/Dists would have a film for states with unreasonable tint laws. I have plenty of au75 happy clients but COOL has been a personal favorite :beer .... I like thick films that are user friendly and AT70 & SUP70 have had their qwirks.
