Yeah, I've done that before. I've told a customer, thats just how it is and they roll. Sometimes they come back for some audio work and by then it has dried and I'll take a towell rapped around a hard card or mac tac, and go over them real quick while its there and the film lays down fine. I don't tell the customer that because I don't want every dick and tom comming back to have this done.... :poop

I get it all the time, but not as much on the small dots that go all the way around the rear glass.I tell them thats the way it come out and not much you can do about and if they see a car that is perfect all the way around with the dots please ask the owner where they had it done.New issue now is the Nissan Altima, Maxima and the 2dr Bmw I glue them but its not always perfect.I can't wait for them to do away with those pian in the ass dots. Some customers are 4|\|4L about it but I have yet to have one come back and say they saw a perfect glass with matrix dot.

Awhile back there was a tip on here about the small dots around the edge.

You squeege out all the water to the edge, leaving water just around the dots. The person said that this softens up the glue. After about 5-10 minutes you can push out the rest of the water and the dots should stick.

I have used this method on quarters and it works about 80% of the time.

Those dots are a pain! Explain to the customer what happens when you tint raised dots. Then you covered your *$$. Not much you can do, expect get lucky. :poke Try heat, or let the car sit in the sun, if it not a waiter.
