retail has slowed quite a bit

we been slow since october 1. gift cerificates havent been sellin yet either. a lil fat glass but not too much. just sucks big time.

It's getting clder here now,the phone is more quiet but still get what need .

This is when survival tint mode kicks in and selling technique kicks in . Spend the time with the customer on the phone (more so then when your swamped with work in the summer) and sales ratio will increase

Dead slow this week, looking out at an empty bay. I had two appts no show today, I called them and they both said sorry they cant afford it at this time

I f you cant afford it why make the appointment, at lease call and say you cant make it, most of the time I think they just found a cheaper shop to have it done at. when I have customers call and say they cant make it they will usually make another appointment and they show up, the ones that dont call are the onse that went somewhere else
