You can get ticketed for anything if the cop doesnt like what you are up to. I have heard its a 2 pt ticket from some downstate, up in my area it is ALWAYS a fix it ticket. want2modmygt Posted August 16, 2007 Report Share Posted August 16, 2007 I dont wanna sound like im messed up... but ive been hassled by my fair share of cops on the metro detroit area. if you dont mind my asking... what part of woodward were you on? were you in oakland county? or...? that makes a difference. also, what district court is it for? that will also change the cost of the ticket. If the cop didnt write the ticket for a fix it ticket, then you're going to have to pay the ticket, or fight it. If your in the 53rd district court (rochester hills area), then it's a $70 fine, unless you fight it and lose, then it's $100. Now if you're farther south on woodward, I believe the price of a tint ticket jumps to $120. Just so you know, tint tickets come with no points in MI. tintmann313 Posted August 16, 2007 Report Share Posted August 16, 2007 he said he was by 13 and the cop did not write fix it ticket k, the way it works is a couple years ago they changed the rules on us a bit. now it is a moving violation [bUTTTT] I havn't heard of anyone getting full blunt of it... every set I've removed has been written as a two point ticket mostley by state cops. they get board on the side of the road you know sense taxpayers started complaining about the donut shops. anyway call the court about it and find out if you can just remove it.
