I stated in a previous post that I was thinking of quitting my day job to persue mobile detailing full time. a was hoping to get some info on what others in the field about that.

1. what is my greatest obstacle(s) in maintainig and growing in the business?

2. is it a realistic goal to make over a hundred thousand a year if working alone?

3. is there anyone who regret making the decision to get in this business and the sacrifices?

4. are there any laws that may prohibit me or restrict me from growing like I want?

I am presently working a day shift job that I make about fifty thous a year but I feel so limited with the amont of money I can make there. you know how companies are all trying to cut out the over time and often enforces it for two or three weeks then gradually give it back of put up a mandantory overtime memo where you may have to work the next two weeks seven days straight. without the overtime I will make about forty thous a year. this is not enough to cover my bills and expenses so I had to come up with something different.

I will share more insight later cause I am about to head out to church. however any comment will be appreciated.

If you can't make a living on 47K a year then you have bigger problems than deciding if you want to detail cars for a living. To that, if you can't manage to survive on what would be about 24hr which probably also includes insurance, you'll more than likely go out of business.
