Please teach me Window Tinting

I want to learn tinting. I want to learn tinting so badly. I have had an interest in tinting for some time and I’m not going to give up so easily.

If anyone (IN THE UK) is prepared to take on a starter who knows the basics then please reply to my thread. I am dead serious and I’m not posting just so I thought lets try this.

Even if its like 2 times a week watching a tinter tint customers cars - then I’m also learning by watching and assisting.

I’m located in London but can travel.

Please reply to my thread or email me on DJSTORM1231@AOL.COM.

If I can just about tint my car then I'm happy. I then want to travel to the USA or Canada if I can spend 4 weeks working on cars in a tint shop there as well as training.

Any of you guys willing to offer a temp job to me for a couple of weeks around Feb 08 time?

I believe that you need atleast a month of training and non stop tinting for a starter to be ok.

"Limo", this is your 4th account, what's going on here?

This one's email is: ricky.samras@*****

You have one named Rsamras, Samrasr and Rickster.

Multiple accounts are really frowned upon here! :thumb

***Correction, Rickster is the display name for Rsamras, so only 3 accounts but still. If you guys forget your password just email me for a new one at tintdude@gmail.com, don't register a new account. :dunno Thanks. :thumb

:nope before I got shown the basics by a proffesional tinter from scotland I was beat now I am knocking them out rightly.

seek a good jedi teacher and you shall learn, and if you have a passion for it dont give up no matter how many times a screen beats you. and quality is better than speed.

good luck

I'd have to disagree with that statement as well Truetinter..if that was the case, you wouldn't have so many tinters leaving thier present place of employment after getting trained and turning into the competition (happens a lot in this industry)

Not to mention Flat Rock Stan wouldn't have any students that could go on to become tinters if this were the case :beach

Yes, I believe thier are "naturals" , but I can tell you this..I was pretty much born into it..I never had a "passion" for it and never had the patience for it. It's God's cruel joke on me because I was born without either of these traits(patience or passion to tint), but by the time I was old enough to realize this, I wasn't half bad at it so I stuck it out to become a pro :poop
