I was at a rally today an there was loads of old mk 2 escorts, one took a bad off and all the side was caved in but the window stayed unbroken, must have some sort of plastic windows, check all the rally suppliers they must take the glass out to replace it with plastic and im sure they wont throw them out

:lol

coolrides, a friend of mine works at a mk1 and 2 SPAM specialists, they build rally cars, restore road cars etc, for perspex windows the cheapest and easiest way for them is buy sheets of perpex, draw round windows and cut, instant persex windows!, however this is generally on track cars as you just cant beat the optical clarity of glass for the road, perpex usually needs replaced every now and again as it scratches and discoloures easier than glass - just FYI!! -scott
