Estimate Packets....

Recommended Posts

I recently started to make up estimate packets for commercial bids and residential estimates. My packets consist of those clear binders with a cover sheet displaying my company name and logo along with the commercial or residential customer's address, a couple sell sheets (color brochure sheets I get from my distributor) of a couple types of film I recommend, a sample of each film, warranty sheets, and the estimate itself. All in all it is a little more work, but I believe it gives a professional look and customers seem to really like it instead of just a couple loose samples and an estimate. I also do the same when the job is completed, I hand them the same binder with their receipt, warranty info, and some business cards. Does anybody else do this?

heres the sell sheets:

:lol2 yep, I don't have clear binders, but I have some folders I get from my dist.,

Do the exact same thing, and it goes a long way in giving a more "profesional" look, and the nice thing is in it, the people have all the materials that they can read and go over in front of them whenever thay want.

I do it as well.... people tell me all the time how nice it looks.

I usually make my own folder like you do - sometimes if I'm out and can't get to the store, I'll use a folder from the film co. that I have laying around...

I almost never just leave an est. and samples... Commercial jobs - usually... but I don't do much commercial. Residential - always gets a folder.

I've recently started doing the same. I wanted to have my business card guy print me out like a folder that has a few fold out pages with jobs I've done and all the necessary info and stats, but never got to it. eventually I will but for now I got a decent little packet. It always helps because when the customers spouse gets home later they will have something to sit down and look at. They will remember you instead of some guy who just left a piece of paper with a price on it
