tint_detective
I don't know what a vaux astra is, but the vent windows in the king cab portion of my truck are pop riveted in... I drill them out and replace them after tinting, just don't make the hole too large.....
autoez22
Why remove the glass? Is this only crazy to me! if a 05' 2 door civic can be done with the panals on, I have faith in all tinters
want2modmygt
drill it out. use a smaller drill bit than the rivet and go slow. it'll come out. I used to remove and re-pop rivets all the time on our robots in high-school. I just learned real fast that you gotta go sloooow. and by slow, it'll take you less than a minute. . VIP tint + glass
just be careful of the windows that the rivet goes through the glass. if you are off with the drill you will crack it. the windows with lower brackets are a lot easier. they make special drill bit in the exact size made especially for rivets. Guest coolrides
its just 2 rivets on a vertical slideway, stops the buttom of the window sliding forward out of its runner. will have to phone vauxhall an ask what size of rivet they use an what drill size, I am an enginner I should be able to work it out just seems some car makers are nob heads an dont want you to take bits out got it done with them in but prefer them out
