So I'm wraping my van in Vinyl

Not sure if this is the right forum to put this, if not, please move it

OK 1995 Dodge Caravan, with high quality Chrysler paint on it :nono to remove the flaking paint, I used clearbra (bad product my dist. was gonna trash) put clearbra on, let it set up for a coupla hours, and went and removed it :beer GREAT way to remove bad paint :poke

looked like this to start with

after I got alot of it off

then I started wraping it in vinyl

all in all, not as bad as I thought it would be to do, just very time consuming, it's gonna take me a month of sundays to get it all done :lol2:lol2

I was gonna enter this in the photo competition this week, but it's not done yet, mabye just the shot of the hood :lol2

It's going to look very nice when you get done ! Waaaaaayyyyyyyy better than it does with all that paint chipping... :lol2

You might want to get you some wax and grease remover to clean the paint with to make sure the vinyl will stick good ..

:thumb laquer(sc) thinner, and a scotchbrite pad, thats what I be using :lol2

what the hell...Go but some ppg white from your local auto paint store and I will come spray that shiz...good lord...really come on now!!!!

It's Oracl 7 yr vinyl, don't have a clue what cast or calendered means :lol2

You could have bought another caravan for what that vinyl cost :poke

I hope you fixed those ghetto gaps on the windows too :lol2
