question about rear window shrinking with antennas

I have to tint a a rear window and it has an antenna on it and a piece on the inside of the window that attaches to it, do I just cut around it or something else?

I take both peices off then throw some 3M double sided tape back on and stick em back on the glass.

If its the old cellular type antenna pull it off then restick it with double sided tape.

If its just the little plug type on the inside a size of a dime, cut around it.

I usually remove them and then stick back on at the end.

99% of the time, cell antennas are not reinstalled. I put them in the car and I have yet to have a custy want them stuck back on.

if on a new car, like 03 up impala, they use those for onstar aswell don't they

first off ask the customer if they use it..and if they dont just take it off the glass and hide the wire up under the headliner..Dont even bother putting it back on if they dont want it...also I would suggest not putting the inside part back on until the tint dries...nothing worse than screwing up a fresh tint job for a old bag phone antenna..lol...been there dont that ;)
