Tint Shop Fine???

Im very new at this and just want some info on this, if a tint shop tints a vehicle at a illegal level and that car get stopped for illegal tint does it come back on the shop? And is it illegal to tint a vehicle with a illegal % of tint if that is what the customer wants? Can the shop be shut down or anything. just want to have the info before I get asked to do anything like this and get in trouble, I want to keep my shop on the up and up.

you get caught it's a $1500 fine per installer and $10,000 fine for the business.

What a kick in the nutz!!! And I thought $5000 was bad!!! Is there potential jail time and loss of business license that comes with that $10,000 fine? Holland aint no joke!!!

Thanks Key West. Ok one more thing with what I have read in your link and with several searches I have yet to see any legal document that has a exact % for Tint. they only state that you have to be able to see into the vehicle. Do you know where I can find a Legal doc. to support Pa tint %?

Reflexxions, EVERYTHING this guy needs or wants to know is in the statute I gave him the link for. All he has to do is READ the damn thing. I can only surmise that he didn't just pay attention to what I suggested, He ONLY READ THOSE sections that I suggested. I guess reading the WHOLE thing would require effort! I give up.

I'd be slangin' 05% and BANKIN'!!(OK, not 5%) Christ, you can operate with impunity. The ONLY reason I stay legal is that paying fines is not conducive to a positive cash flow, and I have an aversion to jail!! DUDE I am jealous!!

You mean to tell me that you tell a custy whats legal, and if they opt not to go that way, you're in the clear? Thats freakin' AWESOME!! You are my new HERO!! I like Canada already!!!
