Guest Thetintcenter
I just recieved 2 Altima 2dr coupes and the rear glass seems to have the same curves as the 96' Eclipse. A little tough to shrink for me. Anyone else doing these? Any problems?

shwusyrtnts
I have done about 4-5 of the new Altimas and it was a cakewalk I was able to just white scub the matrix and it stuck fairly good. Just needed a little touch up. Who wet shrinks anymore I thought the SoapMeth was like the only way??
cool dude
Tinted a Nissan Altima Coupe 2008 .... Wasn't hard at all ...shrink a little on the door, dry shrink the back, clean dot matrix with steel wool and the film layed down smoothly ..... used Global HP
Protint
Just did one today. Used the soap method and didn't have any problems. Tried to steelwool the dots but ended up glueing. No heat was necessary on the doors or the quarters.
dbdreams
I would say it probably depends on how good the film you use shrinks. I did one today and had to slow down a bit on the edges of the back window to shrink it properly. I use the soap method and it worked well but this was my first 2dr altima so I just slowed down a bit. Even after I layed the film in the back window I still had a few fingers that I had to heat out. Maybe its just me but I definately prefer the four door.

klingsdesigns
I have to do one of these this week.. Do you have to take off the door panels? Also, what kind of steelwool do you use?
