Hello there,

I was surfing the web and came across this forum and wanted to share some photos of my car. Below is the picture when I tinted the car %35 metalized for all the windows except the front windshield.

I thought that the tint was not enough so I added 30% to front doors, and 20% to the back door windows and quarter panel. For the rear windshield, I installed a rolling sunshade to reduce glare. If I installed a 20% tint on the back window, I'll easily back up into another car without seeing it.

I was wondering which is better for the front windshield, 70% or 50%? metalized or just normal? right now I have almost half the front windshield tinted with 5% tint. PLease let me know what you think.

Enjoy the photos.

wow that windshield strip is huge :hmmm

I would do a 50% metallized on the whole shield, just so it keeps out more heat, then put a smaller strip over it :nope

thanks for the replies.

micro-edge :: the strip is not getto or anything near it. It was supposed to be a little higher but came out to be about half the windshield.

I am not a pimp if thats what ur implying, its going to go anyway, I just wanted an opnion on what to go on the windshield a 50% metalic or normal. But seems like all you do here is either compliment or criticize.

Thanks anyway.

we do this for a living and do it to make things look good....legal too

your car is far darker than anything legal would be and the strip is "ghetto" as in it belongs in the ghetto....slang terms....the gist is it looks way wrong!

The metal film would be the best for heat rejection, but the whole windshield is going to be illegal too....don't go more than 50% if you drive at night at all.....
