in a 12 million dollar home. A contractor wants me to tint these windows in a huge expensive house. They are going to install $20,000 curtains and spend $6000 in restaining the faded wood. There are 4 of these windows, 3 of which you can see. 119 little pains of glass in each. I'm using Geoshield. I gave the contractor the price, he did'nt like it. What would you charge? Bare in mind, with the addition of 4 simular windows, the total # of pains come up to over 500. :dunno

If the guy is whining about the cost, walk away. Not worth your energy doing it at a lower price, especially is these panes are that much of a pain.

I did. He was still trying to argue with me while I was on my way out the door.HAHAHA Then he says he will tell the home owner but does'nt think she will go for it, O WELL. I got other things to do :dunno

cheaper to install a second single pane glass pane in behind each window ,then just tint the one pane for eash..a grand total of 4 sheets of tint rather then 500 :dunno

I made that sugesstion already, they got their heads up their asses, they won't go for it

Tell them that's the only way the price can get down a bit ..or intduce them to "DIY" and be prepared for the results.

If you can't get them on the price you quoted , then fug em..you attract different levels of customers based on what you charge. Usually if you use tha line..it'll sway many customers back into your price category :lol2:dunno
