Ok heres the deal, guy phones me for a lexus IS200, so I give him the price and then about a week later he phones me back and asks me for advise for the tinter who is tinting his car(as he went elswhere) as he is on the phone

So he tells me the guy who he took his car too was having "problems with his back window"

I tell him that I already know the problem is,that its puckering on the heater lines!!!

So asks me if I can tell him how to solve the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!! As this other "tinter" only idea was to scrape off the heater lines

So heres the thing do I sort the problem of doing the back window, and take his $$$$$$$$, or do I say sorry not fixing other peoples f*ck ups , as starting to seriously get p1ssed off at people wanting me to fix other "tinters" f*ck ups

I would'nt waste my time on that, no money in it, double the time spent and you could put out a full car.

charge more if you do it and make the guy leave it for at least 4 hours.

Those defrosters are a beeoootch, never used steel wool on those things, will try thought. I ended up scrubbing some simple green on the lines to soften them kind a like matrixes and just torching down any fingers that pop up on the lines. , my first one had fingers that literally connected each defroster line across the whole back window. I must have spent and hour just heating each finger and pressing it parallel with the defroster lines. Simple green had worked ok, but never tried the wool... Is that what works best?

I'd tell him to have the tinter stop right there and have him bring it to me for the back window. I would be the 455|-|0L3 from hell with the I told you so's, and the you get what you pay fors!!!! He would then leave it with me for the 4 or 5 hours suggested, and pick it up looking beautiful and I would only have charged him full price as if I did the whole car!!! He'd have been happy, telling everyone that I may be an 455|-|0L3, but I can tint what others can't!!!!! (But thats ONLY if I'm feeling nice that day!!)
