The owner of the shop I work for is a 3m dealer the only one in chattanooga and that is the only film I use I have used other products like global and it was on my dads suv and faded in 6 months ewww. the regular 3m car films are great but the C.S is F$##@$g Beautiful I did a red 06 mustang and it is damn sexy I think its too dark (5%). Coming from a tinter that should mean something.............................

O I almost forgot thanxxx dad for teaching a kid who tinted twice and had his own method lol :evileye

He WAS working with me, and after 2 or 3 cars decided that he had "his own" way to do it. I wouldn't let his work go out the door, so he got mad thinking I was too hard on him, so he left, and went to work elsewhere.

It's probably a GOOD thing, he's getting some more experience, and maturity (At someone elses expense :lol2 ) The only prob is that he's working for a guy who is an EXCELLENT flat glass installer, but has been doing cars just slightly longer than he has. They now are going thru the "I am GOD, hail me now" phase, and can't be taught a thing.

Hopefully, he'll gain enough experience (and maturity) that he can come and take over Solar Solutions someday. Thats my game plan anyway :lol2

That's not a phase, that's a personality issue. If every tinter who had that attitude quit tomorrow, the film companies would go out of business in a week.

I've never seen anyone who believed that tinting warranted a self-righteous attitude get over it.

Not self righteous, Just overinflated ego. To one degree or another most of the tinters I know went thru it. (Me included, back in the days before wheels were round) Some get over it sooner than others, some never do. :gasp You are right tho.... The tint MFGRs would be in a world of hurt if that happened.
