Yep I get calls for 1 & 2 windows all the time. somebodys got to do them and those small jobs lead to referals that lead to other jobs. :lol2

:spit If someone needs it give it to them..no matter how small. The flat glass people over here maily do big jobs which is ok for them but if you want more personal customers who go with word of mouth and keep you busy it's the little jobs that will eventually leed to bigger things :lol2

go out there and do the one or two windows. while you're there, offer to measure the rest and provide a free estimate. don't do the quote at the site. take it home and prepare it as a room by room proposal. email it. that's the way to get these people to do more. they can think about it with no pressure, we get the rest of the house all the time doing our proposals this way.

On those front window jobs, I tell them they need tint on the rears also, they always give me a :lol2 and say "its already tinted" when you inform them its only a privacy smoke glass with no real heat inhibitors. 60% of those customers really don't know you can tint over that smoked glass for more privacy and more heat. Of course it depends on location and laws. I take those $75 front window jobs and turn in into $250.00 in a heartbeat because they realize its not tint on those factory SUV's. Easy upsale, especially when you see a car seat back there. kiddos dig the tint :lol2

Suv's are more $$ and take the same time as a four door car, some are even quicker (tahoes) :spit

Yep! And I DO some of 'em, too! But unless it's right next door, I have a Minimum of 150.00 within a 20 mile radius. A few small jobs = 1 large job. Or try and schedule them when you have a larger job in the area. I do that all the time. Charge them a minimum of 50.00, and tell them you'll call when you have a job near them. I put them on a bulletin board, and check the board before I go on a job to see if theres a small one nearby. :lol2

Sorry Chris, I just noticed it was you that posted. Thought someone was posting 'bout flat.

Whats up with this?? Call me from time to time, and I might be able to feild some your way!! Or at least, you could answer your phone when I call you!!! :thumb
