Ok, so I was scraping some old crappy film off a car (never mine, always yours :nono ) As usual, using a 1 inch blade with my fingers because the

scraper is rusted again.

I go to the van for some paper towels and see the ole 6inch triumph scraper and

think" I wonder :spit "

SHAZAM!!! A big 6 inch span of clean glass after one pass! Sure it only works

up and down on doors, and you have to get the edges and bottom corners with a 1 inch, but

it still cuts the time in less than half. Not to mention how much more comfortable the grip is.

Pickup backglasses--- done! works on glue and the really old bad crap

that you just have to muscle off( once again, never mine always yours :spit)

Nobody likes removal, but this really saves alot of time and pain!

If you havent tried it yet, do it. If you have, howcome you never

told me? :poke

You want to be careful with some cars doing this..on double curved door windows, you can scratch the glass with each corners of the blade because of the length of the blade not cnforming to the curve.

I know this from experience from way back :poke

Good tip..just nt for all doors :spit

That's why I only use a 1 inch. Got a great blade tool from autozone or somthing like that with the best grip and I lost the little fvcker!! Pretty much like the red handled one:

A lighter pass will tell you if its gonna use the whole blade. most doors are not

double curved, but you can tell. you would be surprised at the progress you can

make!

:poke

:nono Don't mean to argue, but I think all doors have some compound curve to them. :spit

You're right, but you don't have to shrink very many of them because there

is so little curve. Most will tolerate a 6 inch scraper. once you're sure it's not

hitting the sides of the blade only, you can wail away & be done with it! :poke

I'm sure you have one, just try it, you'll like it!
