Do I have a problem?

I just got my car tinted at Lightning Mikes in Charlotte, NC. (They did a great job and were very professional.)

But the back glass has a bubble in it about the size of a dime that needs to be fixed. They said to just bring it back and they would redo it. But I’m really worried now about the Defroster lines and Radio Antenna that is on the back glass of my car.

What are the odds when I take it back to be fixed that I will have a problem with this? I am very concerned about my car and don’t want something to not work properly on it.

Any advice or suggestions? (or am I simply worrying too much?)

Thanks!

If it's a moisture bubble, then leave it alone and all will be well.

If it's whitish on the outside appearance, then it's air . It would either have to be redone or if your real worried about the defrost/antenna and can live with a slight blemish, then have him prick it with a needle (not as professional as removing it but will do the job if your worried :poke

If you get it back to them quick enough, they can release the air and in a few days you'll never know it was there...

If you mope around about it for a few days and then take it back, then they'll have to redo the window to fix it.

Do both of you a favor and get there soon. :poke

Let the pro's worry about it.

It's just a car. It could go up in flames or just disappear and you would have to worry at all about the defroster.

Time to set the priorities folks.

I do realize it is just a car, but since it is parked outside in the winter I need the defroster to work to keep ice off my back glass. And well, the Radio antenna.............I dont like driving around not listening to anything

I realize you were just trying to make a point, but I took that as a rather rude reply.......

If they were that professional, quit worrying. They said to bring it back....Bring it back ASAP. Chances are that it's just water. (It's NOT a finished product when you pick up your car, it needs to dry, generally about 30 days) I am sure that they will make it right.

Remember, the last time perfection existed here on earth, they crucified it!!! I realize its YOUR CAR, and the second largest investment etc. but it's ONLY A CAR! If there is something wrong, it won't cause cancer, it won't bring chaos and anarchy, you and your kids will still be here, the world as we know it will not end. Be rational, let them look at it, and fix it if need be. :lol2
