I've got a prerealease facility, with common area's (bathrooms) on 8 floors with 2 windows per unit 50x60 -sealed ig units. I know from past experience that there going to try tearing the edges and gouging the film . I was thinking 4 mill with dow corning the edges . you cannot do exterior without repelling the building and that is not a option. any help ? :lol2

Buy a rope

Maybe put a layer of anti-graffiti film over it.

Or have them install bars or a fence after you film it to prevent them from touching.

I think the most important thing is for the job to be as clean as possible, so that people don't really focus on the fact that it is there. If it is possible for the management to keep people out of the bathrooms while you are working -- that helps and until the caulk sets up better still.

The caulking definitely helps. Make extra sure your caulk is neat. You want it to look like a gasget, if possible.

Basically you are trying to keep your craftmanship so high that most people won't even notice something has been done. My experience is people tend to mess with stuff that is already a little broken -- little bit of peeling or a glop of caulk that is just asking to be pulled.

After that, it's management's problem.

Good luck!
