old greyhound bus

Recommended Posts

I have a old greyhound bus to give an estimate on. I have never been asked to tint one before, and I dont know what model it is. I was just wondering what you guys may charge, ball park. I know we dont discuss prices on the forum, so if you wouldn't mind sending me a pm, I would appreciate it.

Charge him your name ..BIG MONEY :beer

I'd have no concept of what to charge till I inspected it thoroughly so I didn't end up screwing myself on time :beer

I've done a few for hockey teams. I found that for the models I've done, you could take a pattern off of one or 2 and cut all the rest from that pattern. All flat glass so its a pretty quick job. if I member right I was gettin around 5 a square for them...maybe a bit less.

Everytime I've done one, I just charge it like a flat glass job. They are usually pretty easy like slick says, just repetative windows.

Thanks for all the replies and pm's everyone. I looked at a pick of one on google, and gave the guy the ball park he wanted, now he wants me to come out and look at it and make a final estimate. I guess the price wasn't too far off from what he was thinking. :shock

watch the rubber seals if thats things got em...I did an old "small bus" you remember those 237 :lol6 and all the seals were not even or half silconed...so the cutting one window and making a pattern works great but I had to trim a lot of seals to make it look ok. I put 5% on there so even the smallest light gap looked bad because the ligth difference was so great.
