Tinting, Road Noise and Stereo

WOW. I don't know if it's my imagination or not, but I "think" I am getting less road noise and my stereo sounds better since getting my windows tinted (SunTek HP).

It could be that I feel more enveloped inside my car now. Either way, I like this. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Like I said, it may just be perception as having dark glass gives you more of a cocooned feeling so that one might "feel" like the car is quieter and that the sound is slightly enhanced. Either way, real or imagined, it does "feel" better. Also, as a musician, I know I have better hearing because I have a highly trained ear. Who knows. Who cares. I'm happy ;)

The material is not thick enough (or any other real properties) to have a noticeable ability to deaden sound.
