Need expert advice on which film to use on my 2007 BMW X5. I am looking for the best film available that looks like the stock privacy glass. I originally installed 3M Crystalline but had it removed because it looked purple. I had samples put on of Huper Ceramic but it also looked blue/purple. I would like to find a film with:

- Highest visibility (clearest)

- Best heat reduction

- Longest lasting

- Looks like stock privacy glass

I have had a few recommendations from local installers for Suntek Symphony, Suntek HP, Llumar ATR, Madico Ceramic, Madico Charcool and 3M CS but I really wanted to get your opinions. Thank you for your help.

But privacy glass is dark.

You want clearest, but you want it to look like privacy glass.

Symphony won't look right on the vehicle, neither will the Madico Ceramic.

HP/ATR/Charcool/CS will give it the privacy glass appearance, but the heat rejection is just normal and not stellar.

That is unless you want a 60% or 70% which won't look like privacy glass. Then you have some other options for high heat rejection and they're clear.

you a right HO30 Dont match

The X5 Stock privacy tint is more on the 35% end

HP 30 was still darker... Carbon was way off.

I tried the Suntek HP 35 and it was the right darkness It was a bit shiner.

They only thing we have found to be a closest match a possible is Suntek HP 35.

Might try a carbon 45% it might be a tad light but it might have the right look

For some reason I was thinking the back section was clear glass and you were wanting it to look like factory tint. With that said 20% is most likely darker then legal in your state. Post a pic of your ride then we could get a better choice, but most likely suntek hp 35, mmm cs 35, global qdp 40 will be close if the rear section is a smoke tint, but don't expect to get a perfect match with any film, maybe close but not perfect. Pics :lol6
