Guest Peja43916
I just got the Blue Maxx Blade and I was wondering if anyone who has used this ever scratch or tear tint due to the sharp corners and edges of the tool. Also the tool is pretty hard . Thanks in advance for any help or info.
Guest CajunTinter
Blue Maxx is awesome.... Never had a problem with it... keep the film wet when using and you'll be fine !!!!
Guest thatsnappyguy
I have had some instances where the tint got torn by the blue max. I like the white max alot better. its not as hard and it gets alot of the water out just like the blue max.
Guest mhun9180
Make sure you don't bang it into anything sharp because once you mark the leading edge it will scratch.

Maybe I will look into ordering the White Maxx Blade if it is made of softer material. Thanks.
Ryker
Blue maxx is the best power squeegee for auto. It will not tear film unless you pick up some sort of crap....the blade itself will not tear film. Now if you are using some really cheap thin film then you might have more issues..... I tried a clear maxx once and it left behind a lot of water.....
Guest Zrok
keep the film wet and it'll do ya right catch a bug or a hunk of dirt and it'll rip a hole in your back glass keep the edge in good order (or cover w/ a wet paper towel) and you'll be fine
Guest Key West
Really? Maybe I will look into ordering the White Maxx Blade if it is made of softer material. Thanks. Blue Max all the way. The whole point of the excercise is get AS MUCH water out. Softer aint gonna do that. I'm sure that a white max will give great results, but it win't out perform the blue. And, ya pretty much gotta TRY and tear film with a blue max.
Guest darkdan
Blue max + crusher handle is what I've been using lately. Only ONCE has it ruined a piece of film. I was doing an 82" wide arch window and a piece of sand was between the film and window. Ripped a nice hole into it. Back when I had it in an unger handle I managed to catch the screws on the handle on the window a few times.
