I was up at my mothers rv campsite the other weekend. She recently bought one of those camp site trailers that stays at the site and people pay rent for the site. No its not a trailer park for say but where people go for the weekends and summer time to get away. Anyways she was complaining about the glare and heat she is getting from the sun. Thw windows are single pane. Of course I am going to tint them for her but since This camp site is about 4 hours away from me I am not going to ask anyone else if they would be interested. But for anyone who lives close to one of these types of campsites it might be a way to earn a few extra bucks...not going to get rich but then again you dont have to use the most expensive film on these types of windows either. Just a thought........... :twocents

Great idea Edge, I like it. Cha ching, thank$ dude. :dunno Awesome quick way to make an extra buck. You can use either auto or resi film too. Thats the way you have to travel when you go camping. Haha , have some film and tools with you, cruise around the campsite and talk to some that may need tinting. Gotta give them a good affordable price. Like you said too , don't need to put up any expensive films either. Maybe have a campers special. Hahaa , Tell them on a certain date there is a special running that you'll be in town to do a sssh it load of trailers for a good price. Cha chhhing.. :twocents

About 3 years ago we tinted the same type camper at one of the campgrounds for this dude at the beach, there were around 150 campers stay there yearround. Anyway this guy likes it so much he walks around the camp ground getting us other jobs to do. We ended up spending every weekend that summer doing campers, we did 3 or 4 every weekend and this guy got all of them for us, I bet we did at least 70 campers in there most were about 500 bux each. Used silver 20 on a majority of them to block most heat and privacy since they were packed in so tight. Haven't done any out there in the last 2 years, im actually going to go out there this weekend and try to get it started up again, too bad my salesman isn't there anymore :twocents

did several "campers" a few years ago....

I found that the Jayco brand that I was doing had black butyl like crap that had to be removed from all the edges....an extra 10 to 20 minutes per window....they are small windows mostly and yep charge up higher. The people that are in these things have money. I wouldn't touch one for less than about 450 to 500 now.

I'm tinting one of those mobile home places that are always stationary. it's got 32 windows or 292sq ft. I'm really hoping that people will see me up in there when I go there and I will be able to rack in some more business from it. I'm gonna take some business cards when I do go :spit

I would never have thought to try campers, but I'm going to do it. thanks for the idea :beer

Campers are also DIRTY, VERY DIRTY!

They're always on camp sites with gravel roads and have the windows open and dirt just builds up in the seals like no tomorrow.

Yeah, the one I did had glazing everywhere.
