can anyone give me some advice on ur process for applying the vinyl lettering to a surface. I seem to strugle and have problems everytime I do an install. what do spray on the vinyl? what do you spary on the surface? do you use rubbing alchohol at any point of the install? my installs just never seem to stick fast enough so that I can pull off the transfer tape. and I dont want them to stick too fast cuz I need to position them. should I take measuements first and mark the surface or use lightly soapy water or rapid tac to slide it around?please help, I get sooooooooooooooo frustrated everytime I do a vinyl install.

Thats what I do, don't use much alcohol, I've found with the cheaper vynals that it eats the adh. just like it eats film adh.

I use marks and dry install. very rarely do I ever do a wet install. when I do, its water/alcohol mix....about 2/1

unless the piece of vinyl is larger than 15" x 15" I do them dry, if I will even do it. If you have large letters you can separate them into smaller sizes.

Just tape the top edge and slice down the transfer and backing. Then you lift up the first section and peel the backing. Lay it down nice and smooth from top to bottom.....move on to next piece. Not much of any thing too hard. Liquid of any kind will shorten the life expectancy of the vinyl.
