lately I seem to be getting more n more cars come in to be tinted n when they get here n I start the job I find out a window is broken n wont go up n down ,do you just tint the glass in situ n not worry about the gap at the top ,refuse to tint the whole car ,just leave that window ,I usualy just slide the tint up as far as I can n tell the customer oh well if its not right bring it back n il retint it when you get the window fixed chrge them of course ,what would you lot do

we get in touch with the owner and tell them the situation. give them the choice of fixing it and bringing it back for that one window or just let us tint it with it rolled up. 99 percent of teh time they say to just tint it rolled up here.

I do just what you do. I hate it because I know if they get it fixed the top'll look like crap so I always tell them to be sure and let me redo it if they get it fixed. I can't think of a single one I ever redid though. I think those motors are pretty expensive. I usually try wacking the door to see if I can jump start it. If not I just go for it.

it would depend on how slow I was. if I where real slow id do the job. and then explain it to them. if I where busy id talk to them first. so I wouldnt have to deal with the headache. of them saying why didnt you say something sooner. I would have just waited. but for that reason if I was slow id want to get the money. while I had them there. and not much else to work on
