I did the 2 rear door's and the back window today they guy's got mass money into it 4 screen's they were working when I pulled it in there was a movie playing while I was doing it I didnt want to mess with it because I wasnt real sure on how to turn it off so I left it on...turned the power off when I was done with the rear door's and I took the back window out since it comes out real easy just figured it would be less water sprayed in the car when I pulled it out nothing was working the streo shop that's here with me has been looking at it for seeing that they put in all the stuff I dont know how it could be my fault I didnt even pull the panels seeing that the seals come out so easy but I just wanted some input on it been trolling this message board for a few days and decided to register and ask when this came up any info would be very helpfull

Just thinking what I would do when tinting those, I don't see how anything could affect the system. Sometimes there are just horrible coincidences that happen. Sh*t like that has happened to me and it does suck. Hopefully it will be a quick-fix for the stereo shop.

maybe it has some sort of security device that shuts down the electronics throughout the vehicle if a window is damaged or removed. Not sure though, just a thought.

It turns out it was the installers fault it just happened to bein my hands when it went ***s up it just figures tho...it was working fine till a tinter gets ahold of it then nothing works right...always seems to happen with stereo's we get blammed for the stupidest crap
