I tinted an F-150 with a sliding rear. When I was prepping the center piece of the slider I had to cut and scrape a whole buttload of glue off. Where the clip was at it looked like they used about two times as much glue as was necessary. The truck is brand new so it came from the factory that way. Guess the factory got a little sloppy on that one.

p.s. I'm not talking a little bit (I've run into that quite a few times)we're talking a whole :woowoo ton

probably 75% of my jobs are trucks. but I can count on one hand how many F-150's I've done. everybody here drives 3/4 tons and 1 tons. the only 1/2 tons I tint are dodge and chevy. the local ford dealership only has one or two F-150's at one time. they just aren't a big seller here.

yep seen it, most of the glue comes off had a few were it just wont come off so I cut it a little big around it and put a some black out tape cut to the shape on the out side so it looked like a factory black out looked real nice.the black out tape I found is like 2 inches wide and you can cut it to fit the cheap ass sliders from ford.

I don't do many f/s trucks, maybe one or two every couple weeks and I have never seen so much excess. I've gotten used to scraping the glue around them, but I couldn't believe how much there was
