mods and I can see the IP # of each post. We have a tool that allows us to resolve the IP to its owner, members who post with that IP and all posts made by that IP. Usually it's fool proof, unless it's an AOL user, AOL uses "dynamic" IP's, which means the IP # is not unique and constantly changing.

Other things offer clues when the IP is not reliable, such as manerisms like they way a post is typed. Some are subtle, like for example, I don't capitolize "I" unless it's the beginning of a sentence, others are very obvious, like the triple comma that civicnitro uses.

after a while, it's easy to spot. just start looking harder when you're reading. everybody does something "unique" in their posts. if you look at mine, I always punctuate correctly, but I never capitalize anything unless I'm stressing that particular word or I'm pissed. I NEVER use the "they're", "their", and "there" incorrectly. some on here always use "there" for "their".

tintslut always has the ",,," like civic, but you can always tell his posts from civic by a long shot.

ZROK just randomly enters periods throughout his posts. :woowoo (it's all good my tint brother, just pickin)

OT never misspells anything and his posts are of the miniskirt variety, long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to keep it intersting.

then there's people like civic, who never punctuate properly, misspell at least half the words and each sentence is extremely hard to read because most of the time it doesn't make sense.

after a while, it's easy to spot everybody with out even looking at their avatar or username. just start looking harder and you will understand.

Can you glean any psychological information from the way a person posts? Maybe you are in the wrong business TTS. I think you should go to work in the serial killer division of the FBI. :woowoo You pay a lot more attention to those things than most people do. I never noticed that much just by reading posts. Pretty cool, though. What do you notice about my posts?
