I pretty much always use a 3? gallon pump up sprayer. I have about 10-12 feet of hose. For the last 7 years or so I've always put an in-line fuel filter in the hose to keep any :dunno from contaminating my installations. Anyone else use a filter on their sprayers?

Yep, I use the 3 gal. with the filters as well. I use an aircraft filter, but I use two of them in sync, they both catch quite a bit of gunk.

I gave up the filters like those, they fill up with the shampoo to fast or rust on the hose, so now I just put a blue towel on the white filter in the handle 0on the sprayer and just change it out once a month or so.

On both trigger sprayer and my hudson I zip tied a piece of doubled up pantihose on the end of the pick up tube. Seems to work ok for me, just gota raid the wifes sock drawer for some holy ones.

actually about a month ago I bought a one of those PUR filters and attached it to the sink. I've got one of those deep shop sinks and that way when I don't need the filter I can turn it off.

I also have a filter on my utility sink, my shop's water source comes from a well, so we get plenty of sediment, have to use every available resource to stop it.
