Guest vital Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 what is the difference between Non-Reflective and High Performance tint? are HP tint Reflective?
hoosierwindowtek Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 NR refers to film with no metal in it, HP refers to film with metal in it.
Guest vital Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 what difference does the metal do? sorry, I'm a total newbie...
hoosierwindowtek Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 The metal rejects more heat and HP films typically have a better warranty and last longer...
tintguy Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 High Performance it's all in the name. Just kidin
tintguy Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 Slight hp's are normally a little reflective. Nothing like a mirror though
hoosierwindowtek Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 usually, the NR films have a deeper, blacker look than HP which have a shinier sheen to them. NR films actually look better when new to most people. However, they don't look as good after a year or so often times so it's better to go for long term.
