I went to home depot and saw a milwaukee heat gun (Model 1220HS) for $30 and then went to lowes and saw a wagner heat gun (Model HT1000) for $30 also.

They both have pretty similar ratings 1200Watts, Dual Heat Selection 750F & 1000F. so which one should I get?

Except for minor differences, I believe those two are the exact same thing with different labling. The switch direction may be different or something.

In any case, you can get the same thing for 20 bucks at Walmart(the milwaukee) :dunno

these 2 look almost identical. the same company probably makes them both. just repackaged.

I have had alot of the milwaukees over the years like the black one your talking about . they seem to work about 6 months to a year then wab out on ya.

I have a milwaukee red heat gun now. they are lots tougher and heat up very quickly, I paid 80 bucks for it.

this is what I use. the milwaukee 8977
