I clean my glass with dirt-off solution and a mister muscle cleaning pad. This was recomended by Llumar rep.

What do you old hands use?? - I have one of those white scrub pads but have never used it yet.

Just curious

use razor blade

Dirt Off in combination with a white non-scratching scrub pad (or razor blade where appropriate) are designed to work well on the oily contaminants that automobile interior materials produce when the inside of the vehicle gets hot. Materials used today are oil-based products and they outgas to the extent they deposit a oily, milky film on the glass.

Dish soap is for dishes and has absolutely no place in the process of glass prep or film installation. Those that still use it are either old school thought or ill-informed.

John den Braber @ LLumar wouldn't steer you wrong. :lol6

sprinter is right.....soapy water, razor blade, and a scrubber. That's all you need for cleaning....... :lol6 But my personal preference is Dawn dishwashing soap.
