I have'nt done many saloon vehicles in general. Do you ever take the side panels down to apply the film or do you cut it very tight on the matrix so you can get a hard card or other tool in there??

Word of caution.... if you heat any of the fingers that may appear at the bottom with the door panel on, be very careful.... the A6 interior panels are not very heat resistant..... melted one pretty good in one spot the other week !!!

I do a lot of Audi's, I just did a RS6 today, that is a MEAN Car!!

The door pannels come off very easy, 2 screwes thats it, top right and top left, after you take out the 2 screws, just pull straight up on the door pannel there are hooks that hold it on, after you remove the pannel, just let it hang, its ok. then procede to remove the styraphome on the sides, then just pull the gasket out, very easy. Just make sure you remember how the styraphome goes back, its kinda tricky. Also when putting the pannel back on, put the lock in first, and line up the hooks and slide the whole pannel straight down, making sure the hooks and the lock are lined up.

I dont take off the pannels on the 4's or the 8's, just the 6's.
