I have been working for myself now for over 12 months installing vehicle security, car phones, parking systems and in-car video etc and have been spending the last 6 months practising tinting as an addition to my business.

I have over 20 years experience in my current core business.

I do not advertise the fact that I tint as I feel that I am nowhere near the standard required yet!!

I currently provide a mobile service to main dealers and existing customers and although am am invoicing plenty ( getting paid is another story sometimes :spit ),

I feel that unless I have a clean working environment in which to carry out tinting, I will never satisfy myself, firstly that I am, good enough as I am p1ss1ng around trying to tint vehicles in crappy conditions!! - so I have decided to invest in premises!! - a 1000sq ft industrial unit, this is the only way that I seem (A) my tinting improving and (B) myself surviving another cold, wet and frequently unproductive winter.

Wish me luck - I'll need it...

Good luck naughty dog.

I think that after you tint for awhile longer you'll become more comfortable tinting mobile. It takes some getting used to but it'll make you a better tinter in the long run. Remember also that your eyes are trained to pick up even the most minute flaws that the average consumer would never even notice. Don't be overly hard on yourself for this very reason.

I hope your investment pays off for you.

I do tape every fabric gaskets,,,

and u wanna use a little bit of soapy water as possible before install ur film.

otherwise u ll get a little bit or bunch of dirts on the side edge of film even u tape off the gasket,,,

so dont spray too much mounting solution on the glass... I guess this is the greatest tip I could give to yall... :thumb:bingo this will solve ur problem
