I signed up for this and I'm sure a lot of you have too and was wondering how those of you that make cold calls will approach this when politicians and judges get done farting around with it?

Anyone else have an thoughts on this?

It was suppose to be active Oct. 1st. I think there is some legal wrangling going on about it, but it has slowed down the number of calls a bit. :thumb

The state of Wisconsin started their own DNC list last year. We can only use it for our home phones, and it doesn't work for charities/polls. It has helped a lot at home. I signed up my business phone number too, just in case they weren't watching. I get so many calls there, that I don't know if it worked or not.

The way that I understood the law was, it only applies if they try to sell and get payment info in the same call. As far as I can tell, if I am just trying to set up appointments, it doesnt apply.

we use the telezapper at my house...it only works for the

computer generated calls, but hey, it cut them down from

like 20 a day to around 5 a day
