Hoofin' it!

I'm thinking about getting doorhangers and hoofing it around the residential areas as a means to introduce myself and the window tinting division. Have any of you tried this, if so, was it worth the expense of printing, and the time spent putting the hangers on the doors?

We did door hangers once, with minimal success. Make sure you know where you can and can't hang flyers, etc. We got a call from the city telling us we couldn't do it anymore. However, If you don't have any business coming in the doors, this could work for you. Good luck!

Been there done that. And plan to do it again starting in March.

Response was ok.. not great, but not nothing. Paid for the printing... as for time - I walked one area. Took me like 3 hours to cover the whole place.. in the dead of heat in the summer. I thought I was going to die. lol After that I borrow a bike and used that. MUCH faster and still gives ya some good exercise.

We tried it one time and got a little bit of exposure. No business but some exposure.

I do door knockers all the time, and after every home I hang up a few on each side on the street. Sometimes it works, sometimes they don't!
