Film-On/Dirt-off

A question for the tinters that use Dirt-off and Film-on. I just ordered a bottle of each to try out, but I got 2 diffrent style pumps with them. One big, one small. Which pump goes to which bottle??

which bottle is smaller? I would say big one for film on but I honestly don't know

Same exact bottle..... but each bottle reccomends a certain amount of pumps per 1quart. And theres two diffrent pumps... They really need to send detailed instructions with this sorta thing.. :lol9

trial and error dude have a go just use them and test, everyone finds different amounts to suit different techniques and also diff films

I use the small pump for Film-On. 3-4 squirts depending on what film I am using and the conditions... this is for flat glass, auto may be different. Dirt-Off or X-100 I do not use the pump because I buy it by the gallon. I usually fill a squirt bottle to the bottom ring with X-100.

I believe it is 1 pump is 1 ounce

Film-On uses the small pumper and each pump = 1cc

That's what I use, too, for flat glass PS or highly corrosive metal films (copper, silver).

Double for safety film...

5-10 pumps (per quart/liter) for auto depending upon season. In an air conditioned environment such as shop or training center, 5 pumps. Many an installer runs into difficulty using Film-On at these low doses due to the fact that they have not had to avoid pressure on the film while positioning. The key to success is to use as little pressure as possible on the film while moving it into place.

Dirt-Off (aka X100) large pumper, 4 pumps (per quart/liter) = 1 oz.
