Do you have to meet some kind of guedelines for quality before you will be considered for a F1 dealership? :DD

Not at all downunder. The only proviso is that you have to buy into one of these franchises but the F1 marketing thing has had the wheels fall off it because operators wrecked the concept of high elitist film installs by panicking and whoring the once benchmark F1 to that of the "also ran."

Such a pity but that's the external market forces taking their toll on a brilliant idea executed by tint shop owners who should never have had it.

The only buy in is for signage to the tune of approximately 1.5k... a recommendation from the are rep and a financial background check. They are always looking for someone who would like and can represent the name well.

:DD Difference here is you don't buy in, you pay for the signs and placards. Some know what to do with the concept, others have no selling or installs skills and need a name no one else has in order to be successful.

I still have the film and the paperwork from the Z .

The film removal yielded some clues that this was indeed F1 film.

Pulling F1 film off doesn't necessarily mean it was installed at a shop... if they have a F1 warranty card with lot number, then it was a legitimate install, otherwise it could have been the shop boy trying it on his own at the owners expense. :lol2:hmmm Like that doesn't ever happen.

I had to go to a Mid West city to attempt to savage what a couple of reps thought was a good F1 potential... unfortunately neither of the installers, after a 5 day training by a Midwest independent trainer, could tell me what a finger was.

Sadly, the program has lost its teeth and a lot of integrity from those not willing to pizz someone off by yanking the product away and giving them the option of continuing with LLumar. :DD:DD
