if I remember it is GLUE.....haven't tried dotrix but I have no use for glue personally.....

I clean the dots with glass cleaner and steel wool then use "Pro-bond" adhesion promoter

Greg the national sales rep for lulu came buy a shop I worked for in So CAl in 2001. He had his sisters Eclipse that he wanted tinted. I did the rear window and glued the dots while he watched. He was really inpressed at how it came out. I guess lulu has their own line of blue glue now. :hmmm

The film that we used was Millenium 15 I think.

:dunno

Dotrix was a product developed by an X LLu employee in Florida... where it went from there had no backing from LLumar. Now, that doen't mean an idependent distributor of LLu products wouldn't be involved in marketing such a substance.

Last product analyzed and of similar chemistry came in long clear tubes with blue caps from a mad film type... it turned out to be mostly dish soap mixed with glue. :hmmm:hmmm

Also, these type products as well as many other chemicals are going to be under greater shipping scrutiny and may in fact already require a MSDS be in the box or available to anyone on request.

Ask if the product maker or supplier can fax or send a MSDS to you so you know whether their are health hazards in using them.
