I just read that the new 04 Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis have a optional front side door glass. It is supposed to provide extra security for smash and grab break ins, reduce road noise, and filter out most of the sun uv rays. I dont guess using a heatgun would be to safe. Any thoughts or anyone seen any yet.

I havent seen any yet...I would imagine that it shouldn't be a problem though...just use low heat :lol6

Everyone is always talking like laminated glass is so dangerous to heat...I've never had a problem on windshields. What is the deal? Anyway, heat gun use on door windows isn't usually a problem if you shrink the film if it needs it. :lol6

I second that HWT, I have never had any problem with laminatied glass. Done a few windshields in my day and never had a problem. Just go easy with the heat... :hmmm
