Anyone ever had to have thier gallbladder removed

Did you have back pain? If so what did it feel like?

I have been having stomach issues for awhile now. I have been blowing off as anxiety. But 2 days ago my upper back started hurting so bad that I was out of bed at 4:30 this morning laying in the tub. But nothing seems to help. I even took a couple of muscle relaxers and it did not relieve it at all!

My mother had it done. I don't remember her having any problems afterwards. You might want to see your doctor?

I went to the doctor a couple of months ago. My stomach has been bothering me off and on for what seems like several months.

All test were neg. I just figured is was a case of anxiety. I really do not want to go to the dr again only to be sent home feeling like an idiot. Maybe I will just wait a couple of more days and see if it goes away

Hopefully that is all it is but don't ignore your intuition. You girls have that advantage over us guys. We don't know that there is a problem until they are burying us.

Try another Dr, second opions are not a bad thing.

getting a gall bladder and spleen removed runs in my family..so far so good for me..no one had complications afterwards..hope you get on the mend either direction it takes V !

Good for the sake of mankind and every member on here -we were hoping Mr P was not reproducing

On a serious note -I do hope that you get to feeling better. Ive had kidney stones but know nothing about the gallbladder
